Based on the original formulation of Nick Dudman’s Dark washable artificial blood, this Scratch Gel has been produced by Pigs Might Fly South to satisfy demand for a blood gel that can be used to simulate semi-congealed blood or used directly on skin to create the appearance of scratches/graze wounds.
The artificial blood scratch gel replicates dark blood that has started to clot and can be shaped directly on the skin using make up tools/stipple brushes or laid into prosthetics applied on the skin to produce the effect of flesh wounds.
It is suitable for all skin types, is allergen free, fully compliant with EU Cosmetic Regulations and will wash away from skin, costumes etc with warm water. Can be used with all film cameras including latest high definition equipment.
